Join the CZ Quintet as we pay tribute to one of the most iconic record labels in jazz 80 years after its founding by Alfred Lion and Frank Wolff. Our program will consist of lesser-known works by major figures from the label’s golden era (1950s-60s).

Join members of the Airmen of Note for an evening of music for jazz septet, focusing on the quirky compositions of pianist and icon of the Blue Note Records catalogue Duke Pearson. Pearson was pivotal in shaping the direction of the 1960s movement in jazz known as "hard bop."

Created in 1950 to continue the tradition of Major Glenn Miller's Army Air Corps dance band, the current band consists of 18 active duty Airman musicians, including one vocalist, and is stationed in Washington, D.C.
